IF CAMP SELLS OUT AND YOU DIDN'T GET A SPOT...Please be sure to add your name to the waitlist by clicking the "notify me" button on Friday AFTER 8pm. If you add your name to the waitlist before 8, it won't be valid because the waitlist has to begin after registration opens at 8. Families cancel in each session because of vacations and other conflicts so it's definitely worth it to get on the waitlist. We keep each session to a very small number of campers to enhance learning and keep our leader to camper ratio low. This is a good thing, but it means camp sells out quick. Summer 2019 we plan to add more sessions so we can accommodate more families. :) Also, if you register for the wrong session by mistake, you'll have to go on the waitlist for the correct session if it is full. Legally we need to adhere to camper leader ratios so we can't simply add a camper to a sold out session. Thank you for understanding!
There will be two sessions, one for preschoolers and one for Kindergarteners - 1st grade. Be sure to select the grade your child will be entering in the fall.

What will we do at World Changer Camp? Each day will center around 1 - 2 social-emotional learning skills: empathy, self-calming, emotion regulation, resiliency, bravery, conflict resolution, inclusion, acts of kindness and how to be a world changer. Even though these topics sound serious, our activities are lots of fun, super silly and play-based and they are approved by a former elementary school teacher and Principal, and a licensed child therapist. Our ultimate goal at camp is for your world changer to learn how to be kind and brave and to have SO MUCH FUN doing so their face hurts from smiling and laughing so much!
Why is kindness education and social-emotional learning so important? Research shows teaching kids kindness during the formative years of 3 - 6, is the single most effective way to prevent bullying before it has a chance to start. We go one step further and teach bravery as well because we wholeheartedly believe kindness and bravery together create a balance kids need for healthy social-emotional development. In addition to bullying prevention, kindness and bravery education also fosters resiliency, confidence and academic success. Kids who are kind and brave are statistically happier, healthier physically and mentally and far more likely to grow up into happier, healthier adults.
We can't wait to spend a week this summer with your World Changers!
Your child must be potty trained by the time camp begins. No cancellations after March 30th.
